Woman slashed Leonardo DiCaprio’s face mistaking him for ex
In 2010, Aretha Wilson, did not contest to assaulting Leonardo DiCaprio with a deadly weapon which in 2005, left the movie star requiring 17 stitches.
But before she accepted the charges, she tried to give what she said was her side of the story. In 2005, at a party, the woman was said to have attacked DiCaprio with a drinking glass.
Her lawyers argued that the following court case and charges were a ‘cover-up’ from DiCaprio. She had requested at the time toxicology reports from the night of the attack and DiCaprio’s medical records as well as any ‘rap sheet’ to his name.
She admitted that she had taunted the actor and referred to him and his friends with slurs, calling them a derogatory term for queer people. Her lawyer at the time said that this enraged DiCaprio who began to approach her threateningly and she suggested, “Why don’t you go [sodomize] each other.”
As a response to this story, DiCaprio’s lawyer Blair Berk said this was all, “outrageous lies and a classic case of trying to re-victimize a victim in a violent assault.”Continue reading…
