Step-by-step preparation
: Prepare the dough.
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with the eggs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the bread, soaked in milk and squeezed well, and mix everything together with your hands until the mixture is soft but firm.
If the dough is too wet, add 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs.
Fill and roll:
Spread the mixture on a sheet of parchment paper into a rectangle about 2 cm thick. Arrange the cooked ham and melted cheese on top, then roll up using the parchment paper, sealing the edges well. Shape with your hands to obtain a smooth, compact shape.
Prepare the potatoes:
Cut the potatoes into wedges or cubes, season with oil, salt, pepper, and fresh rosemary. Arrange them in the baking dish, leaving room in the center for the meatloaf.
