White House ‘identifies’ alleged Epstein victim said to have spent “hours” with Trump

Trump has consistently maintained that he cut ties with Epstein decades ago.

“He took people that work for me, and I told him, ‘Don’t do it anymore.’ And he did it. I said, ‘Stay the hell out of here,’” Trump told reporters in a past interview.

But the newly uncovered emails suggest Epstein saw Trump as someone who could still be useful, at least publicly.

In one 2015 email to author Michael Wolff, Epstein asked how Trump might respond if questioned about their relationship. Wolff replied:

“If he says he hasn’t been on the plane or to the house, then that gives you valuable political currency. You can hang him in a way that potentially generates a positive benefit for you.”

Epstein responded later, claiming Trump “knew about the girls” and had once asked Ghislaine Maxwell “to stop.”Continue reading…
