On Dec. 14, Rob Reiner, 78, was found dead inside his Los Angeles home alongside his wife, 68-year-old Michele Reiner.

According to official findings from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the iconic filmmaker and his wife died as a result of multiple sharp force injuries, USA Today reports.

The couple’s 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, was taken into custody at the scene and later charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
