Despite the openness, the Eyes Wide Shut actor claimed in a previous interview that her husband “really doesn’t know what’s going on” while filming, suggesting he was largely unaware of the graphic nature of her scenes.
‘Wall of Truth’
During a live Zoom appearance on July 1, 2025, on Australia’s Mix 102.3 show “Hayley & Max in the Morning,” Urban made his feelings clear when talk turned to his wife’s steamy on-screen moments.
But things quickly took a turn when hosts Hayley Pearson and Max Burford shifted gears, asking him to take part in the show’s no-holds-barred “Wall of Truth” segment.
“When I was coming up with something to ask you, Keith Urban, if you happen to play this game, the first thing I thought of, with your beautiful wife Nicole Kidman being in so many great movies, TV shows all the time, I watched a movie with her and Zac Efron recently, A Family Affair,” Buford started.
“Oh yeah, that’s a good one,” the “Somebody Like You” singer replied, per Billboard.
‘He hates us’
“What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV and radio?” Burford asked before the line grew silent.
“What just happened here?” the co-host asked as someone explained that he “disconnected from Zoom.”
