On December 4, therapist and pastor Stuart Knechtle appeared on the George Janko podcast, where he spoke about a conversation he had with Barron at 12:30 a.m.
“I was talking on the phone with Baron Trump at 12:30 at night one night, and I thought I was hitting him with everything but the kitchen sink when it came to all the evidence for God and Christianity,” Knechtle revealed, per CBN.
Knecthle explained that Barron wasn’t convinced until he discovered stories about missionary workers in Africa. They had seen “thousands of Muslims” convert to Christianity because of visions they had while sleeping, which made an impact on Barron.
“Oh, that’s a very, very interesting point, and you have eyewitness testimony,” the pastor recalled Barron saying. “He’s very close to putting his faith in Christ. Very close.”
“I thought I was hitting him with everything but the kitchen sink when it came to all the evidence for God and Christianity,” Knechtle revealed. “I thought I was really on, I was pumped.”
Melania Trump “furious”
While Barron Trump might soon be convinced of his Christian faith, Knechtle explained that the 19-year-old still has to ‘come around’ to the idea of Christianity; his mother, Melania, has other things on her mind in the discussion.
Knecthle’s conversation with Barron was a private call he outed on a podcast for the whole world to hear, talk, and read about, which made the First Lady of the United States furious.
According to gossip columnist Rob Shuter, who cited a White House insider, Melania has “always stressed discretion” for her son and family members.
“She believes her family’s private life is sacred. This? It’s a betrayal,” they told Shuter on Substack.
A third source added, “Melania’s circle is circulating reminders about confidentiality. Everyone who works with the family knows: leaks will not be tolerated. Barron’s moment might have been innocent, but the betrayal? Devastating.”
