When the image first began ‘leaking,’ locals thought the humidity levels were causing issues with the cheap material used to make the frame. However, Father Nectarios Yangson noticed something that caused him to pause.
He then wrote a letter to his parish, saying, “During the last week of September, I began to notice an unbelievably strong smell of myrrh, at home, in my car, even at work. I couldn’t explain it.
