In a surprise twist, one of the the two women who offered their baby to Watkins prior to his imprisonment (both women were sentenced to long prison terms as well) has now made a fresh bid for freedom.
The individual in question, who remains anonymous so as to protect the anonymity of her child, was incarcerated in 2013 and ordered to serve 17 years in prison for allowing her infant to be abused by Watkins. The offense reportedly included taking indecent photographs.
In wake of Watkins’ death, the UK Parole Board confirmed that her parole has been referred for review.
A spokesperson for the Parole Board told the Daily Mail: “We can confirm the parole review of (Woman B) has been referred to the Parole Board by the Secretary of State for Justice and is following standard processes.Continue reading…
