Ever since Keaton’s death, tributes have poured in from across Hollywood, with some of the biggest names in the industry honoring the legendary actress.
Robert De Niro, who shared the screen with Keaton multiple times, said:
Leonardo DiCaprio, who played her nephew in Marvin’s Room, honored her with a touching Instagram post:
“One of a kind. Brilliant, funny, and unapologetically herself. She will be deeply missed.”
In an emotional essay published by The Free Press Sunday, Woody Allen described Keaton as a one-of-a-kind individual.
“Unlike anyone the planet has experienced or is unlikely to ever see again, her face and laugh illuminated any space she entered,” Allen wrote.
Throughout her life, Keaton was candid about her personal struggles. In a 2015 interview with the Los Angeles Times, she opened up about her family history of cancer and her battle with bulimia in her 20s.
Despite those challenges, she remained an icon of authenticity, humor, and grace — both on and off screen.
Hollywood will never forget Diane Keaton — a true original whose laughter, spirit, and timeless charm will continue to inspire generations. 💔
