Chubby Checker’s interracial marriage to beauty queen Catharina Lodders is still going strong after 57 years

Their love and understanding have kept their marriage strong for the last 57 years and produced three successful children: Bianca Johanna Evans, WNBA player Mistie Bass, and musician Shan Egan. They also have seven grandchildren.

In 2016, Herald-Tribune reported that Checker and Lodders visited their former pastor, Garver, who officiated their wedding on his 100th birthday.
