The mother of the five-year-old girl who fell overboard from a Disney cruise ship earlier this year will not face charges of negligence.
The terrifying incident took place on June 29 as the ship in question was making its way to Florida from the Bahamas. According to reports, a ‘MOB port side’ announcement – the emergency code that means ‘man overboard’ – was made suddenly during the voyage.
As per reports, he was able to tread water for nearly 20 minutes before they were both pulled to safety, with a rescue team quickly locating them.
