Sally Kirkland, Golden Globe-winning actress, dead at 84

Sally Kirkland, Golden Globe-winning actress, has passed away at the age of 84.

TMZ were the first to break the news, confirming that she had passed away days after she had moved into hospice in Palm Springs, South California.

Reports this weekend revealed that the decision was taken to move the actress after she was diagnosed with dementia last year.

A recent GoFundMe page set up by her friends, meanwhile, detailed how Kirkland had been struggling with “life-threatening infections” having suffered a fall in the shower. The page in question was intended to raise funds for her “urgent medical care”.Continue reading…
